Funeral services for the late Emiko "Emi" Matsumoto, 82-year-old, Los Angeles, CA born resident of Gardena, who passed away on August 28, 2008, will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 1:00 P.M. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her beloved husband, George Matsumoto; children, Glenn (Josephine), Gary Matsumoto, Elaine (Steve) Masuo, and Gail (Karl) Phillips; grandchildren, Edward (Kelley), Ryan, Kevin (Julie), Jeanette, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Kai and Ian; siblings, Mary Kawano, Fumiko (Robert) Harada, Sumiko (Joe) Hamamoto, Isao Kawahara, Hideko (Rupert) Jimenez, and Nanako Kawahara; she is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
