Elsie Fumiko (Ebe) Maeda 74 year old Los Angeles resident, passed away at home in her sleep on December 8, 2007.

Born in Wahiawa, HI. Graduate of Leilehua High School and the Queen's Hospital Nursing School. An RN retired from the VA Wadsworth Medical Center after 35 years of service. Active member of West Los Angeles United Methodist Church.

She is survived by husband Sumio Maeda; sons, Deron Riichi Maeda of Hawaii, Bart Torao (Kirsten) Maeda of California; Grand daughters, Karissa Irene, Kortney Elise, and Karolyn Ruth Maeda of California; sisters Evelyn (Sus) Suzuki and Ruth (Stan) Nishimura of Hawaii; many nieces and nephews; extended family; and a lifetime of friends.

Memorial services in California will be held Saturday, December 22nd at 10:30AM at West Los Angeles United Methodist Church, 1913 Purdue Ave, Los Angeles, CA, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

Memorial services and final interment in Hawaii will be held at Mililani Memorial Park, 94-560 Kamehameha HWY, Waipio, Oahu, HI at a date in 2008 still to be determined.

Since the final interment will be in Hawaii, in lieu of flowers, the Family hopes you might consider helping them establish a fund in her name.
