MRS. ELSIE SUMIKO KANEOKA passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born to Mr. & Mrs. Tamakichi Kamigaki on August 30, 1934 in Honaunau, Hawaii.

She is survived by her husband of 56 ½ years, Dr. Donald Kaneoka, her children (spouse): Dr. June Kaneoka (Dr. Tom Togioka), Jack (Dori) Kaneoka, Patsy (Butch) Matsuda, Wendy (Rudy) Correa and grandchildren: Ryan & Lauryn Togioka, Emiko Kaneoka, Cory & Megan Matsuda, Kelsie & Kayla Reger, her Brother, Albert (Jean) Kamigaki, Brother-in-law George (Ada) Kaneoka of Hawaii, Sister-in-law Chris Sugita, Brother-in-law John Tao and Sister-in-law Helen(George) Tamayori. Elsie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University.

Services will be held at Hillcrest Congregational Church, 2000 West Road, La Habra Heights, California on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11am, with Rev. Mitchell Young of Montebello Congregational Church officiating.
