Private family funeral services for Elsie Kikuye Hayashida 90-year-old resident of Alhambra who passed away on Nov.4, 2009 at Alhambra Hospital Medical Center, were held on Sat. Nov. 14 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her sister, Harue (Alfred) Horibe; nieces, Patricia (Eric) Sturcke, Suzanne (Ken) Heard and Janice (David) Spencer of N. Carolina; sister-in-law, Masako Hayashida; brother-in-law, Tatoshi Shimono; and other relatives.
