Ellen Yuriko (Takara) Isobe (85) passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 27 ^th after a battle with multiple myeloma. Born in Honolulu, moved to Los Angeles after graduating Kaimuki High School. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Dave) Sugimoto; son, Glen (Fumiko) Isobe; grandson, John (Lynne) Sugimoto; great-granddaughter, Kristi Sugimoto; Siblings: Iwa of San Diego; Tommy, Karen, Lynne and Wayne of Hawaii. A private memorial service was held at South Bay Community Church.
