Mrs. Eleanor "Ellie" Minami, 82, New York City born native, resident of West Hills, CA passed away on September 24, 2015.
She is survived by her loving family; husband, Manabu Minami; daughter, Laura (Zladdy Paksec) Minami of Australia; son, Michael (Rika) Minami; grandchildren, Kelsey (Gerald) Veltkamp and Caitlin Fife both of Australia, Tyler and Caden Minami; sisters-in-law, Shigeko Yoshimura of Chicago, Kim Minami of Los Angeles and Veronica Waka of New York; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Celebration of life was held at the Japanese American National Museum on Monday, October 19, 2015.
