Eiko Ishibashi, a Los Angeles born Kibei-Nisei, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2017 at the age of 92.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Norito Ishibashi, and her sons, Kenneth Kenichi Ishibashi and Raymond Tsutomu Ishibashi; and she is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kazue Ishibashi and Joanne Hidemi Ishibashi (David Jung); grandsons, Nicholas Hitoshi Jung and Andrew Nori Jung; daughter-in-law, Michiko Honda of Japan; and many other relatives and friends.

As per her wishes, a private family service was held earlier.
