Edward Nakaki passed away at the age of 64 in Torrance, California. Ed was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Michael, Michael's sister, Sandra and her family, aunts Atsu and Itie, cousins, and friends.

Ed graduated from West Torrance High School and later received his Bachelor's degree in economics from USC. He was an avid reader and was always learning and educating himself about a variety of topics, especially those topics that could appear as possible "Jeopardy" categories.

Ed enjoyed playing tennis, ocean swimming, and was a supporter of wildlife conservation. Classical music was his favorite musical genre. He was also a sports fan and rooted for the USC basketball and football teams. He enjoyed watching horse racing. His favorite race horse was "Just Google Me."

Ed had a wry sense of humor and an amazing attitude. We will remember Ed as a brave, kind, and compassionate man with an unwavering belief in himself. He also cared about the welfare and well-being of family and friends. We miss you every day.
