Friends gathering for the late Edward Eiji Asawa, 82-year-old resident of Whittier who passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Kiyoko Asawa; children, Kazue Frances (Bob Roy) Mc Gregor, Archibald Eitaro (Paige) Asawa, Jon Makio (Yuriko), Justin Takuo, and Jaymin Sachio (Melissa) Hayano; sevin grandchildren; brother, Victor Shunichi (Sally Kazuko) Asawa; sisters, Jane Teruko Takata, Florence Hamamoto, and Christine Etsuko Ban; uncle, Dr. George (Masako) Asawa; Also survived by many other relatives.
