Obituary
Funeral services for the late Doris M. Takamiya, 88-year-old, Hawaii born resident Torrance, who passed away on July 17, 2016, will be held on Saturday, August 6, 9:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes.
Predeceased by her husband, Yoshio; she is survived by her sons, Craig (Joni), Kevin (Marsha) and Bryan (Pamela); grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan, Kenna and Emily; she is survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family kindly requests Aloha or casual attire.
In lieu of flowers or okoden, the family requests a donation be made to the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute – www.jci-gardena.org or a charity of your choice.
