Obituary
Donald Tokuichi Akamine, 94 years old, born in Haina, Hawaii and longtime resident of San Fernando Valley, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife Suzan Akamine; son Ken (Carole) Akamine; daughter Lorraine (Ed) Molina; cherished grandson Blake; and sister Betsy Takamine; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on February 7, at the San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiated by Reverend Yukari Torii.
