Donald Long Chu, 91, of Arleta, passed away on August 8, 2007.
Born in Xinhui, China, he was a retired television film editor and member of Motion Picture Editors Guild, Local 776, and former member of Chinatown Optimist Club and San Fernando Chinese Community Assoc.
Visitation 12 noon Saturday, September 8th at Evergreen Baptist Church 2500 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead, funeral service at 1:00 pm. Casual attire, no flowers.
Survived by wife Kit-Lan Tieng, son Nathan Chu (Eugenia Ordonez) of Santa Monica, son Newton (Roberta) Chu of Hilo, Hawaii and daughter Genevieve Chu of Pasadena, brother Simon (Patty) Chu of New York, brother Soy (Marcie)Chu of Reston, VA, sister Gumping Lee of Pompano Beach, Florida; 3 grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
