DENNIS JOHN WELSH, 69, Monterey Park, CA resident passed away peacefully on October 16, 2016 with his family at his side. He loved life, family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all but never forgotten. He is remembered by many for his quick smile and ability to make you feel a part of the group.

He is survived by his loving family: wife, Rosie Welsh; daughters, Kristen (Pualani) Spurlock-Welsh of Atlanta and Allison Welsh; grandson, Kihei Parker Spurlock-Welsh; mother, Virginia Santoro; step-mother, Betty Welsh; brother, Clifford (Gayle) Welsh; step-brothers, James and Paul Thomas Mathenia; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.

A celebration of his life was held on Sunday, October 23 for family and the many friends whose lives he has touched. A private family service was held on Thursday, October 27, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Mark Nakagawa officiating.
