David R. Yamada, an 88-year-old, California born, resident of Montebello, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 6, 2025.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Frances Sumiko Yamada and brother, James Yamada; He is survived by his children, Stephanie (Rodny) Mitsuuchi, Michael, Natalie (Kris) Tachibana, Kristie (Mark) Lopez; grandchildren, Nicole (Ruben), Timothy, Bryan, Diane, Julia, and Liana; sister, Louise Inouye; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22, 9 a.m. with a mass to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church 222 S. Hewitt St. in Los Angeles.  The family kindly requests casual attire.
