Darlene Nami Tanaka passed away at the age of 78 years in Santa Monica on February 11, 2021. She was born in San Bruno, CA and was incarcerated with her parents at Camp Topaz, Utah during 1942-45.
Darlene was an intensely loyal and loving wife, mother and sister. She dedicated her life to provide for and to raise her family.
She is survived by her husband Ted T. Tanaka; sons, Scott and Ryan; daughter-in-law, Ginalyn and two grandsons; sisters, Toshiko Taylor and Annette Okada; and several nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life was held by her family and close friends at Huntington Beach, CA.
