Darlene Eiko Takatani, 80-year-old, Manzanar California-born, resident of Monterey Park peacefully passed away at Hollenbeck Palms on February 21. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Norihiko Takatani;  She is survived by her loving family; sons, Rick (wife) and Ryan (wife) Takatani; daughters, Christine (husband) Takatani, Lori Takatani (husband) Hara, Dina Takatani(husband) Soo; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral service was held at Evergreen Baptist Los Angeles on March 22nd 2025, Pastor Jonathan Wu officiating.

Burial service was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park on March 29th 2025.
