Obituary
Funeral services for the late Daniel Shohei Kawahara, 96-year-old, Honolulu, HI born resident of Rowland Heights, who passed away on August 22, 2015, will be held on Friday, September 11, 11:00 A.M. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., L.A.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, May H. Kawahara, son, Alan T. Kawahara and sister, Grace Imura; he is survived by his children, Linda (Craig) Ohira, and Bryan and Steve (Debbie) Kawahara; grandchildren, Meghan (David) Meade and Jeffrey Kawahara; great-grandson, Conner Meade; brothers, Denby (Setsuko), Dwight and Delano (Dawn) Kawahara; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family kindly requests aloha/casual attire.
