Memorial Services for the late Mr. Daniel Shinsei Gima, a 95-year-old Okinawa, Japan-born Nisei resident of Little Tokyo who passed away on January 26, 2015were held privately.
Mr. Gima was predeceased by his daughter, Susan.He is survived by his beloved wife, Toshiko; children, Caroline Murashige-Gima and Alex (Shawn) Gima; grandchildren, Vance Murashige-Gima, Caleb and Emily Gima; siblings, Sakae Gima and Fumie Moromizato of Japan, and Ayako Nagahisa of Hawaii. Also survived by many other family members, both here and in Japan and in Hawaii.
