MR. CRAIG TOYOTA, 53, Alhambra, CA born Sansei, resident of Montebello passed away peacefully on August 22, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Angie Ayako Toyota; children, Curtis Takashi and Kristin Megumi Toyota; mother, Carol Hideko Toyota; brother, Neil Osamu (Gregory Williams) Toyota; sisters, Denise Tokiko (Eric) Parker and Shelley Eiko (Tamlin) Dyvig; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ted Takafumi (Susan Kazue) Imoto; sister-in-law, Margie Masako (Steve Isamu) Nakanishi; brother-in-law, Eric Eiichi (Julie Haruko) Imoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Craig graduated in 1987 from DeVry Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management. He went on to have a successful career as a computer programmer at American Airlines and then rising up to a management position at the Los Angeles County Public Health Department, Tuberculosis Control Program.
Craig was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Los Angeles Kings, Lakers, and Dodgers; and his beloved USC Trojans. But, most of all, he loved being a sports Dad, watching Curtis and Kristin play basketball, baseball, football, and volleyball.
Private family services were held on Saturday, September 3, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden".
