Col Miyoshi Higa, Aus Ret.'s Obituary
Family Funeral Mass for the late COL MIYOSHI HIGA, AUS Ret., 82-year-old Los Angeles-born Nisei resident of Monterey Park who passed away on January 22 at Good Samaritan Hospital, were held on February 2 at St. Francis Xavier Church Japanese Catholic Center under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Higa; sons, Eric (Sandy) and Guy Higa, the latter of Kauai, Hawaii; daughter, Corrine Higa;
three grandchildren; sisters, Florence Hattori and Sadako Sumida; and brother, Kiyoshi Higa.
