After living a life filled with many achievements, Dr. Clarence Kimio Hiura passed away peacefully at his home on October 9, 2014. He was 80 years old. Dr. Hiura spent his childhood years in Watsonville, CA, and lived the majority of his life in Eagle Rock, until his final year with family in Santa Clarita.

Clarence is survived by his beloved family: wife of 54 years, Grace; children, Kirk (Janice) Hiura, Stephen (Christy) Hiura, Cathy (Lance) Kaneshiro and Douglas (Sandy) Hiura. Clarence's passion was to spoil his nine grandchildren; Keston, Colby, Ryan, Lindsey, Zachary, Alyssa, Lucas, Miles and Cooper.

Memorial services for Dr. Hiura will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 134 N. Kenwood Street, Glendale, CA (Viewing 9:00 AM / Memorial Service 10:00 AM/ Burial at Forest Lawn, Glendale 2:00 PM).
