Clara Marie Suski Yoshimura
Catholic Mass for the late Mrs. Clara Marie Suski Yoshimura, 95 year old Los Angeles, CA born Nisei resident of Oxnard and Nisei Week Queen of 1937 who peacefully passed away on November 19, will be held on Monday, November 26 10:00 AM at Francis Xavier Chapel , Maryknoll Japanese Catholic Center, 2222 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. A viewing for family and friends will be held on November 25, 4:00 PM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St, Los Angeles.
She is survived by her daughters, Monica Yoshimura (Daniel Quintana), Dr. Ellen Yoshimura; son, Mark Yoshimura; grandchildren, Stephen (Christina), Scott, Dustin, Dana, Taylor and Taj Yoshimura; great-grandchildren, Clara and Elena Yoshimura; siblings of Joe and Elmer (Alice) Suski. Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Her family would like to thank relative and friend Matthias J. Gonzales and the staff members at Fillmore Convalescent Center for their excellent loving care.
