Obituary
Family funeral service for Clara Chiyeko Sumida, 92, was held on Saturday, September 2 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden".
The Fresno-born Nisei passed away on Aug. 22, 2017.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Mark) Kawachi; son, Bill (Debra) Sumida; grandchildren, Kevin, Mackenzi, Curtis Kawachi, and Britt, Ashley, Bryce Sumida; sisters, Jean (Steve) Fujimoto, Janet (Roy) Tagami and Nancy (Ken) Shitara; sisters-in-law, Sadako Sumida and Yoko Sumida.
