Born in 1931, Clara Saito passed away on June 27, 2026. She grew up on the island of Oahu and witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Clara danced hula and had a beautiful singing voice, performing as a lead singer. with an orchestra. She also owned and operated a health food store. She had a smile that lit up a room and a laugh to match. Her greatest joy was her family.

Clara loved, worked hard, and took pride in being a good wife and mother.

She will be missed by her children, Nadine, Leland, and Wendy, her five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Clara was laid to rest alongside her husband George on July 3, 2026, at Riverside National Cemetery, surrounded by family.
