Christopher Thomas Kakimi, a 64-year-old,  Los Angeles,  California-born Sansei and a well-respected educator who served with the Montebello School District passed away on November 18, 2017.

Christopher is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Meri Kakimi; Daughters, Melissa Akiko Kakimi and Susan Mieko (JR) Houn; granddaughter, Amelia Shoshanna Houn; siblings, Arnold (Young) Kakimi and Joanne (David) Warsinski.  Also survived by many other family members.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 10:30 AM at West Covina Christian Church, 1100 East Cameron Ave., West Covina, CA 91790 . Aloha attire please.
