Obituary
MRS. CHIZU OBATAKE, 89, Honolulu, HI born Nisei resident of Honolulu, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 9, at St. Jude Medical Center.
She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Fern (Dennis Chang) Obatake-Chang of Orange County; grandchildren, Ren-Taylor and Riley Chang of Orange County; sisters, Alice Fujita and Florence (Richard) Furushima both of Hawaii; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Private family funeral services were held on Friday, January 23, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
