Private funeral services were held for Chiyoko Tsuji at the Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden". Born near Brawley, California, Chiyoko was a long-time resident of the Los Angeles area. She passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018, reaching over 100 years of age.

Chiyoko is survived by her sisters, Fusako Shibuya and Mary Kusuda and her brother, Masachika Tsuji and many other loving relatives in the United States and Japan.
