Born on July 13, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Chiyoko was a graduate of Santa Monica High School and went on to LA City College. She worked as a bank trust officer for over 20 years. She was married to George Kamiya in 1943, however George passed away in 1968. She then married Robert Goka in 1985 who eventually passed away in 1988.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Karl) Nobuyuki, Patricia Donato, Robert (Amy) Goka, Linda Goka, Phyllis Tanisaki, Richard (Benecia) Goka, and Ernest (Nancy) Goka; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 1:30 p.m. at SFVJACC 12953 Branford St., Pacoima, CA 91331.
