Mrs. Chitose Shimokawa, a 92-year-old, California-born Nisei resident of South Pasadena and former internee of Heart Mountain Relocation Center during WWII passed away peacefully on March 17, 2016. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 28 years, Mr. George Toshio Shimokawa and is survived by her devoted and loving son Gary Shimokawa and many other family members.



Funeral services were held privately at Higashi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, officiated by Rinban Noriaki Ito.
