Chitose Nishi passed away peacefully on June 17 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband, Soichiro Nishi, she is survived by her son, Kenneth (Shari) and daughters, Beverly Rogers and Carolyn (Dave) Calica; granddaughters, Shannon (Craig) Kakuda, Kimberley (John) Aponte, Jennifer Rogers and Melissa Calica; grandsons, Thomas Rogers and David Calica; great grandsons, Blake Kakuda and Tyson Aponte. Also survived by many other relatives.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013, 1:30PM at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Grace Chapel, 720 E. Florence Ave., Inglewood, CA 90301, officiated by Rev. Masao Kodani of Senshin Buddhist Temple.
