Chieko Takeda
A private funeral service for the late Mrs. Chieko Takeda, 99 year old Penryn, California-born Nisei resident of Montebello who passed away on December 16 was held on December 27 at Fukui Mortuary, "Chapel In the Garden" officiated by Rev. William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
She is survived by her son, Arthur (Yoneko) Takeda; daughters, Kazuko Ito and Emmie (Robert) Yasui; grandsons, Roy Ito, Darren (Linda) Shirai, Kevin (Mary) Takeda and Jeffrey (Melissa) Takeda; granddaughters Kathy Ichikawa and Karen (Mickey) Miyamae; great-grandchildren Mathew Ichikawa, Kyle and Kory Ito, Haley Shirai, and Dylan and Laney Takeda; brother-in-law, Katsumi Kuranushi. Also survived by many other relatives.
