Celebration of life for Cherry Y. Ishimatsu, 100 a California born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully at the Sakura Gardens at Los Angeles on November 14, 2025 was held on Saturday, March 28 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail (Ed Hall) Ishimatsu of Oregon; sons, Bruce (Kyle) Ishimatsu of California, and Mark (Carol) Ishimatsu of Colorado; 5 grandchildren, Victoria (Tanner Trowbridge) Ishimatsu of Colorado, Haley (Dan Glor) Ishimatsu of Illinois, Avery Ishimatsu-Hall of Oregon, Grayson Quinn Ishimatsu and Conor Kai Ishimatsu, both of California; and 2 great-grandchildren, Miles and Bennett, of Colorado.
