Funeral services for the late Catherine Sakaye Ishizawa, 81 year old Brighton Colorado born resident of Gardena, who passed away on Jul 26, 2011, were held on Aug 17, 2011 at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, with Rev. Alan Sakamoto of Orange County Buddhist Church officiating.

Catherine is survived by daughters, Lori, Caryl, Shari and Nancy Ishizawa, Jodi(Jon) Hisamoto, and Tracy Kamehaiku; son, Brian Ishizawa; grandchildren, Shawn Christian (Corrie) and Mario Jorge Clemente (Bridget) Acuna, Kristie Mie Matsumoto, Corey Keil'i Kamehaiku and Nicholas Hiroshi Hisamoto; great grandchildren, Thomas Daniel Barry, Sarah Aurora Ryo, Ayla Sachiko Inez, Georgia Emily Nicole and Christian Neil Acuna; sisters, Alyce Asada and Leona Hayashi. Catherine is also survived by many other family members.
