Carolyn Jean Reiko Kobayashi, 82, born in Seattle, WA on April 23, 1941, resident of Rosemead, passed away peacefully at California Mission Inn on July 10, 2023.

She is survived by her husband, Ben Kobayashi; her daughters, Brenda (Bryan) Kakita, Tiffany (Craig) Oki, and Anji (Steven) Kobayashi; grandchildren, Kent Kakita, Kalani Kakita, Kaya Kobayashi, Keina Kobayashi, and Garrett Oki; brother John Kambe and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial gathering (viewing of her cremated remains) will be on Friday July 28th anytime between 3 -  5pm at  Mission Valley Free Methodist Church, 1201 S San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel, CA 91776

Her ashes will be scattered at sea off the coast of Los Angeles.
