Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Carol Tsuda Hayakawa, a Sacramento, California-born Sansei resident of Torrance and former internee of Jerome Relocation Camp during WWII who passed away on August 5, 2013 will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 2:00 pm at Riviera United Methodist Church, 375 Palos Verdes Blvd., Redondo Beach, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice in the name of Carol Tsuda Hayakawa.

Carol worked for the Los Angeles City School District and then transitioned to being a real estate associate/broker. She was active with the Korean War Veterans, Japanese American Citizen League, and the Widow's group.


Mrs. Hayakawa was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth Kiyoshi Hayakawa. Devoted mother of Caren (David) Murray; proud grandmother of Grant and Eric Murray. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
