Funeral services for the late Calvin Hirofumi Ogawa, 63-year-old, Long Beach-born residence of Westminster, who passed away on January 24, 2024, was held on Saturday, March 2, at Orange County Buddhist Church.

Calvin was a graduate of Westminster High School and later earned his Bachelors in Radio and Television from Cal State Long Beach in 1983. He was a dedicated broadcast, video and audio engineer for over 40 years. He was passionate about the art of cinematography and was an especially masterful and prize-winning photographer with a special gift for scenic and nature photography. He is survived by his mother, Sumiyo Ogawa; sister, Ruby Ogawa; brother, Ennis (Soo Choi) Ogawa; niece, Mira Ogawa; nephew, Dylon Ogawa; also survived by other relatives here, and in Japan.
