Calvin Stanley Coon August 9, 1926 - July 3, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 18, 10 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Wee Kirk o' the Heather, 1712 S. Glendale Ave., Glendale, CA 91205. Beloved husband of Lorraine Coon (née Morigaki). Calvin is also survived by his 3 children: Stanley (Annamarie), Carolyn, and Barbara Cooper (Andrew); his 5 grandchildren: Blaine, Angela, Aidan, Landon and Terran; and many adoring in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, he was a retired electrician employed by LA City and a member of IBEW Local 11, in addition to being an ardent train-lover. Calvin was known for his exceptional sense of humor and unique way of looking at and doing things, as well as for his generosity and compassion.
