Funeral services for the late Byron Kazuo Yoshida, 71-year-old San Luis Obispo, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Torrance who passed away on January 15 at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, will be held on Monday, January 22, 10 a.m., at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Nobuko Yoshida; daughters, Annette (Ernie) Kissinger and Cindy (Doug) Moromisato; grandchildren, Tony and Andrew Kissinger and Connor Moromisato; brothers, Charles (Rose) Yoshida, Thomas (Teruko) Yoshida and Paul (Aileen) Yoshida; sisters, Inez (Jack) Hashimoto, Rose (Sets) Hisatomi, Sandy (Mich) Suekawa, Margie (Darrel) Fiske and Betsy (Yutaka) Kochiyama; sisters-in-law, Mae Yoshida and Florence Kajikawa; brother-in-law, Mako Takahashi; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Shigeko Yamane; and nephews, nieces and other relatives.
