MR. BOBBY ISAO HIRAI, 85, Born August 11, 1923 in Thornton, Idaho, passed away on Friday, January 30th of complication from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army in the Military Intelligence Service and enrolled in National Trade Tech following his Honorable Discharge. He practiced auto mechanics in the Los Angeles area for nearly 50 years and retired from the City of Los Angeles in 1997.
He is survived by his brothers, Charley (Martha) of Mattawa, WA, Jack (Kunie) of Wendell, ID, and Yosh (Kiyomi) Hirai of Monterey Park, CA, and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Violet Sase and Lucille Hirai; and brothers, Jerry and Mack Hirai.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, at 1:00PM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, with Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
