Bob passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 77.  He was born in Rohwar Arkansas, grew up in Pasadena and graduated from CSULA.  He worked for 40 years in the grocery industry.  Bob enjoyed coaching and mentoring young players.  He was soft spoken, honorable, easy going and patient, except for slow play in golf.  Many lives were touched by him and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Okada; sister, Joann (Kei) Higa; brother, Dr. Donald (Marlene) Okada; brothers-in-law, Stan (Irene) Kinoshita and Larry Kinoshita; sisters-in-law, Frances (Dennis) Scott, Kathy (Carl Neitzel – deceased) Kinoshita and Jo Anne Gooch; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He was pre-deceased by his parents George and Susie Okada, and brother James Okada.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21 between 1-3 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary 707 E. Temple St. in Los Angeles.
