Private family services for the late Bill N. Sugawara, 82-year-old, San Fernando, CA born resident of Gardena, who passed away on May 24, 2006 at Gardena Memorial Hospital was held on Saturday, June 3 at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Harumi Sugawara; daughter, Janis (Jesus) Meza; son, Marc Sugawara; granddaughters, Janelle, Jazmyn and Josilyn Meza; grandson, Jesus Meza Jr.; brother, Louie (Mary) Sugawara; sister, Michiko Furushiro; sisters-in-law, Fusaye Sugawara and Hatsumi Morita; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
