Funeral service for BILL SHIGERU MATSUMURA , 98, a Los Angeles born Nisei and resident of Monterey Park who passed away on January 3 at the Kei-Ai Los Angeles Healthcare Center, will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2PM at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3 ^rd Street, Los Angeles. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.

He is survived by daughters, Carol Naomi Tanita and Grace Kazumi (Rev. David) Matsumura-Fukuyama; grandchildren, Allison (Kevin) Hirata, Nicholas Tanita and Michael Fukuyama; great-granddaughter, Mia Hirata, nieces, Irene (John) Ota and Emily Matsumura and many other relatives.
