A private celebration of life service for the late Betty Akemi Wong, 75-year-old, Japan born, resident of Azusa, who passed away on April 20, 2025 was held on Friday, May 9 at Evergreen Baptist Church of San Gabriel Valley in La Puente.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard James Wong and daughter, Doreen Wong; she is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Victor) Chin; son-in-law, Stephen Holman; grandsons, Evan Chin and Jacen Chin; step-grandchildren, Crystal Burke, Stephanie, Buddy and Tiffany Holman; step-great-grandchildren, Aubrey Rivera, Piper and Oliver Miller, Athur Moore and Aurora Romo; sisters, Julie Dojiri and Margaret Miya; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
