BETTY EMIKO OKUBO, age 91 passed away on April 25 ^th .

Makuragyo service was held on Tuesday, May 11, officiated by Bishop Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.

She is survived by daughter, Dorothy Tamiko (James) Nakagawa; sons, Ronald Mitsuyoshi (Cynthia) and Albert Norio Okubo; grandchildren, Tammi T. (Jason) Le and Reece E. and Royce T. Okubo; great-grandchildren; Xander and Aria Le; sisters, Haruko (Mike) Watabe of AZ, and Elsie Okazaki of HI, and Fumi (George) Nakamura; brother, Richard Sasaki of HI; also survived by many other relatives.

In lieu of the customary token of appreciation, donation will be made to Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple of Los Angeles.
