Funeral services for the late Mrs. Bertha Hatsuko Yamamoto , an 84-year-old, Los Angeles, California-born Sansei resident of Thousand Oaks who passed away on February 27, 2014 were held privately, officiated by Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Mrs. Yamamoto was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Mr. George Yamamoto. She is survived by her children, Jodee (David) Toya, Dean (Nancy), Janis and Steven Yamamoto; grandchildren, Devin Toya, Anthony and Joseph Yamamoto. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
