He is survived by his daughter, Diane L. Masuda; son, Kurt (Shirley) Masuda; grandchildren, Benjamin K. (Mariella) Masuda and Ashley Masuda; great-grandchildren; Nikkolas and Gio Masuda; brother, Arthur Gen Masuda; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.

Private family funeral services were held on March 11, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in The Garden" with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
