BEN HAYATO MAKIYAMA, a 82-year-old, Washington born, resident of Rosemead passed away on August 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 7:00PM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles with Rinban Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by son, David Kazuo Makiyama; daughter, Pamela Kimiye Makiyama; grandchildren, Cary Shinobu, Kimiye Nicole and Emiko Erin Makiyama; brother, James Shoji (Takako) Makiyama of San Jose; sister, Takaye (Richard) Kawashima of Chicago; sister-in-law, Kiyomi Makiyama; also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and other relatives.
