Memorial services for the late Mr. Barry Setsuo Tanaka, a Sansei resident of Van Nuys born in Gila River Relocation Camp, Arizona while his family was interned during WWII and a proud US Army veteran who served honorably in Vietnam who passed away on February 8, 2013 were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Mr. Tanaka is survived by his brothers, Kelly Masao (Barbara) Tanaka of Georgia, and John Harley Tanaka; nieces and nephews Jason (Stacy) Tanaka, Jocelyn (Simon ) Robertshaw, and Shawn Tanaka; grand nephews Ty, Jaren and Derek Tanaka of California and Blake Robertshaw of Georgia. Also survived by many other relatives.
