Memorial service for Atsumi Bert Yamamoto, 87-year-old, Terminal Island-born residence of Cypress who passed away on Feb.10, 2012 at Los Alamitos Medical Center, will be held on Sat. Feb. 18 from 10:30 AM at Anaheim Japanese Free Methodist Church, 1001 N. Mayflower St., Anaheim. The family requests casual attire for the service.
He is survived by his wife, Yoko; daughters, Keiko (Christopher) Brockel and Shirley (Brian) Sakuma; grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Garrett Brockel and Courtney, Collin Sakuma; brother, Kenji (Hideko) Yamamoto; sister-in-law, Sadako Yamamoto; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
