Surrounded by his family in Hacienda Heights, CA, Arthur was quietly reunited with the love of his life, his wife Jane. A decorated World War II veteran and American hero (442 ^nd RCT - Silver Star, Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts, Congressional Gold Medal); USC Trojan Alumni; Beloved father of Cathie (Richard) Tanabe, Pam (Jesus) Mejia, Aileen Fukumoto, Christie (Michael) Dews, Terri (George) Munz, and Arthur Masakatsu (Suyny) Tasaka; grandfather of Corey, Mandy, and Kacie Fukumoto, Cameryn, McKenna, and Brennan Dews, Emily, and Collin Tasaka, Keila, Annie, and Jack Munz, Kane, Matt, Nick, and Danny Tasaka-Mejia; step-grandfather of Miguel and Robert Mejia; great-grandfather of Kaileigh and Elisa; brother of Henry; uncle and friend, Arthur will continue to live on in the minds and hearts of all those who love and cherish him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13 ^th , 12:30 p.m., at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1 ^st St., Los Angeles. FIGHT ON.
